PFRA Submission | Privacy Amendment Bill
The PFRA has submitted a response to the Privacy Amendment Bill.
The Bill proposes changes to the Privacy Act 2020, including new disclosure requirements on organisations that collect personal information from any source other than the individual concerned.
The key purpose of this Bill is to improve transparency for individuals about the collection of their personal information and better enable individuals to exercise their privacy rights.
