Face to Face Fundraising
Face-to-face fundraising is one of the most effective means to communicate issues and seek long term support from donors. For some of our members, who do not receive money from government or businesses, this type of fundraising is their only income source.
Regular donation is sought in the form of direct debit or credit card. It is quite usual for donors to support charities in this way for between 2 to 3 years and often, for many years.

Face to Face Fundraising
Face-to-face fundraising started over 15 years ago in New Zealand. Previously many charities had been reliant on one-off donations.
Donations
Ongoing donations provide charities with a stable income and the ability to budget effectively, rather than the cash flow inconsistencies and other problems inherent in one-off donation campaigns.
Income for Charities
Traditional forms of raising income for charities, such as cash appeals and direct mail are becoming less effective, especially in the face of marketing overload from all sources.
